Inshore Fishing in Georgetown, SC – August 2012

Just updating some photos from this week’s outings. The redfish bite has been better than average for August with the cooler temperatures and the bait is really getting thick. The mullet run is just around the corner and that means TARPON. There’s also several good flood tides over the next couple of months. Fishing should be great from now through the Holidays. Lastly, if you are a tarpon angler, please consider fishing the Lowcountry Tarpon Tournament. – all proceeds go the Bonefish and Tarpon Trust. The tournament will be held September 14th & 15th in Georgetown, SC and Lands End Restaurant and Georgetown Landing Marina have agreed to host. Dr Jerry Ault from BTT will present. It will be an awesome event!
