Summervilles & Doves – November 2011 – Georgetown SC Fishing Charters

Too bad every weekend can’t be just like this one was. The weather was about as good as it gets – especially on Sunday. It was so calm and still that the gnats showed up in full force, but you know what they say – “when the gnats are biting, the fish are biting”. Will Summerville came back to fish this weekend and brought his mom for her 60th birthday. We had a great day on the water and Will’s mom out-fished him big time. She put some really nice fish in the boat. Happy birthday Mrs. Summerville – I hope you enjoyed the day as much as I did.

Will that is actually a gnat on the right side of your picture…boy were they thick!

Mom’s fish is bigger!!!

On Friday & Saturday we went out to Indiantown for a morning dove shoot. I don’t think I have ever hunted doves on opening day of duck season before, but it was worth it. Got to hang with friends, shoot birds, watch dogs work, eat good food, and get my butt kicked at foosball. Love this time of year – more things to do than one has time for .

Randolph, Robert, & Geordie – Easter Weekend 2011 – Georgetown, SC Charters

Fished with my buds Robert and Randolph again today – this time they brought their dad along for the fun. These boys are straight-up mad at the Georgetown, SC redfish. The caught overĀ 20 fish today and did and excellent job fighting and netting fish. Randolph wanted to catch a black drum and caught one on the last cast of the day. Happy Easter y’all. The fishing in Georgetown, SC should be great for the rest of spring. Can’t wait to get out there again this week!
