New Years Weekend – Georgetown, SC Fishing Charters

Happy New Year everyone – I hope you had a chance to spend some time outside over the holiday. It was great to have such mild temperatures over New Years for a change. Fished with some of my favorite people over the last few days and everyone got to tug on some nice fish. Our water clarity in the marsh is excellent, so now is the time to get out there and do some sight fishing for redfish. Wishing you all the best for 2012.

Holly’s catch gets the fish-of-the-weekend award. Great catch Holly. Enjoyed fishing with you and Cameron.

Giant school of redfish coming directly towards the boat on Sunday morning – worth waking up early for on New Years Day. Mr Gupton plucked a good number of fish out of the school before we quietly moved away and gave the fish a break. Its important not to beat a group of winter reds too hard. I don’t personally see any reason to sit there and catch every fish in the school.

Mr Hayes continuoulsy one-upped Charlie throughout the afternoon- enjoyed it guys!

Even managed to get out for a duck shoot this weekend. Thanks Smyth and Jim for having us out!
